Big bang, and the crunch
From Chopai Sahib
When the Creator projected Himself, His creation manifested itself in innumerable forms;
When at any time He withdraws His creation, all the physical forms are merged in Him.13."

so how does this any way prove theres a big crunch?
It doesn't prove, but it does refer to this.
In some of my earlier posts, I have referred to the idea that God is basically energy, and some papers (both Sikh and others) that refer to that.
This line of Gurbani here talks about when the creator initially projected to make the innermerable forms, which in *my opinion* can refer to the big bang when everything was one energy type converted into the many types of particles, forces, matter, and energy forms that we see today.
But the next line refers to the "withdrawing of creation". One of the current popular theories is that after reaching an apex, the universe will begin to collapse on itself (many billions of years of course) and may re-emerge into another big-bang sort of idea. There are many other lines of gurbani that suggest this as well!
